I served in the Navy, a plankowner aboard the USS BOSTON (SSN-703) Decommissioned in 1999 and scrapped in 2002. Now I find myself in the unique cradle-to-grave position of helping to care for its remains at the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park. All that really remain are the sail and rudder shipped here in 2003 along with a few cleats. I feel like I'm caring for a vessel that met a premature and untimely demise. Now I care for her remains.

Why being on a Submarine is more fun!
As you know, sometimes in the Navy you get to do some pretty wild stuff, including some wild rides! Click Here to see why I would take a submarine over a surface ship any day!
If ever a Wiz the Wiz he was... Wes,whats a "pundit?" Geez this is fun,I can pick on Xnukes and get support from the rest of the crew!Looks like your the lone sailor Brucie,even Jay isn't coming to save you! Don't mess the the cesspool of knowledge!
There are only one or two people that can call me "Brucie", both of them are older female cousins. Do you fall into that category? If so, then it's "Cousin Brucie" to you!
Jay,I have to admit,you guys ate better then us.The only time I remember "good" chow was right after we would replenish...everything was fresh.Your cooks could experiment with you there were too many skimmers,we ate what we ate,thats why Wes still eats Bran flakes.
Every wave we hit in the North Atlantic was a bigger "bounce" then that,and ya know what? We got to see them coming too!
