Smooth Riding in the North Alantic....NOT!
Okay, now imagine your riding around in a round barrel much lower in the water, with a big "Sail" sticking up just waiting for a wave to splash along the side instead a ship like is shown here!
I served in the Navy, a plankowner aboard the USS BOSTON (SSN-703) Decommissioned in 1999 and scrapped in 2002. Now I find myself in the unique cradle-to-grave position of helping to care for its remains at the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park. All that really remain are the sail and rudder shipped here in 2003 along with a few cleats. I feel like I'm caring for a vessel that met a premature and untimely demise. Now I care for her remains. ...Sort of.

What a bunch of sissies, what did they do call the coast guard?
Naw, I think they got out their cookie bags and tossed a few of them inside before pouring the contents on a cookie sheet and popping them in the oven and cooking until the rich aroma filled the decks...
...My, what visual picture!
I remember a few north atlantic storms that were like that, but I like storms anyway!Even now I like storms...
Bruce, are those dogs below from "Buffalo"? They look kinda hmmm strange.....
They are each laying down on a hatch, thus the hatches have been "dogged shut"!
Looks like they used their teef to do it too!
"Teef"...hmmm, that is a body part I an unfamiliar with...

Shows are over, looks like you missed the boat on that one!!
This is certainly no pleasure cruise!
Oh! I got one!
I heard of it raining cats and dogs, but never reigning frogs!
Count yourself among the uninformed then.
I always do! Kinda like a mushroom, feed 'em sh*t and keep 'em in the dark!
Ray: That's like the Management System that is used here at work.
"Keep em' in the dark and feed em' BS"
