Benefit os Outsourcing American Jobs and "Bush-enomics"

Beautiful Downtown Dubai (Then and Now)
Dubai was just a hole-in-the-ground before the last two presidential administrations embraced outsourcing as a way to generate more American jobs and heat-up the economy. places like Dubai certainly benefited from these policies. A few well-oiled palms make a whole world of difference when we have such an outpouring of our tax dollars going overseas. Somehow that puts money into us Americans pockets....right? Well, that's what our president tells us and we of course believe everything he tells us without question! If we didn't we'd be labeled as "Un-American anti-Christian, wacko-Liberal-communist-tree-hugging Traitors-dogs!"
Afterall, aren't you and I sooo much richer because of these policies???? ...right?

Keeping you "Abreast" of Bicycling Activities!

In some parts of this country cycling has taking on a new level of participation where folks race where a "Full Moon" can be seen in broad daylight! In fact, some riders prefer to stay well behind their fellow racers depending upon the gender. It certainly is a race with a unique view on the fellow competition. Here's your chance to "bare it all" for fun!

It was just a week ago...that I was golfing with some shipmate friends!

Yeah, we were at NTC Great Lakes enjoying some golf, Rick Geddes, Cornie O'Driscoll and myself hitting a little ball across the grass and chasing it in the hot sun! ...Trying to put it in a little hole....what a game!

Newly discovered Photo of CAG-1 (in 1956)

You know, I come across the most interesting people when i go out to jog at 5AM each morning. One retired couple who I walk with after my run were discussing what we were doing this summer and I mentioned that I just got back from a USS BOSTON reunion. This fellow was in the Marines and said that one day he pulled out his camera and snapped this shot above. Others had their cameras confiscated as they took their picture, but he slipped his into his shirt, thus the image was saved! Now, after over 50 years it can finally be seen by BOSTON Shipmates!

Ever get that "Sinking" feeling aboard ship?

That feeling could be "Right-On-Target" ...if you know what I mean!
